Tundish Nozzles

Properties of zirconia metering (sizing) nozzle which is used in zirconia composite tundish nozzle

Products are Isostatically pressed, Alumina-Carbon composited. Materials like zirconia-carbon and Magnesia-carbon at different zones ard used to make it suitable for long and longer sequence casting. Tailor made designs are offered to meet specific requirement of the users.

Special features: 

♦  With Magnesia-Carbon in seat area for use in special grades of steel
♦  With anticlogging bore to prevent alumina clogging 
♦  Special mix at the bore for higher life in foundries

We supply alumina-graphite and zircon nozzles for 1-2 heats. 88%-93% zirconia nozzles for 5-12 heats casting and 95% zirconia nozzles with 4% porosity for 15-20 heats casting
Composite well block metering nozzles are also supplied.
STV mechanism for changing nozzles within fraction of a second without terminating casting is provided for longer sequence casting.
